With the ability to republish your feed as HTML, the possibilities are endless. But if you’re looking for inspiration, you’ve come to the right place. Everything you see here is free for the taking. Check out some of our sample uses for BuzzBoost:
If you publish more than one site, BuzzBoost makes it easy to cross-promote content from one on the other. Configure your BuzzBoost script to include short plain-text excerpts, then tweak your style sheets to match the look and feel of your blog. Feel free to copy and paste our style sheet for use in your own site. (This example uses Blogger's Minima template.)
Plug your podcast in your blog sidebar or on any other site you publish. Configure your BuzzBoost script to include podcast links in addition to the short plain-text excerpts and item date shown in the previous example. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even style the podcast links — put an icon in the background or make the link text a different color.
Since BuzzBoost can output the full HTML contents of your feed, you can easily use it to create alternate editions of your site. Configure your BuzzBoost script to include full HTML of all items in your feed, then create a style sheet to format the output as you wish. Our “mobile edition” example uses a liquid layout and basic styling for maximum compatibility with phones and other mobile devices.
Combine multiple BuzzBoost scripts on a single web page to bring related content together. For example, our dashboard demo contains local news, weather and traffic reports — it's perfect as a browser home page or Windows Active Desktop. Burn the feeds you want, then configure BuzzBoost to republish the most essential content from each. Build a custom wrapper in HTML and CSS, then drop in your scripts and enjoy the data richness.
